The Land of the Free Blog is Moving

Hello everyone. I wanted to let everyone know that as of March 1, 2015 I will shut down this blog and will be posting updates and information on my Land of the Free Facebook Group as well as on the new forum created by Kurtus Brown. I feel that consolidating our efforts on a few locations will make it easier for the community to stay informed and interact with one another.

You can find the Facebook Group here

The Land of the Free forum is located on Yuku and can be found here

Please continue to enjoy your Land of the Free Wargaming and I hope to see you on the Facebook page and the Forum.

Thanks,

Joe Krone

P.S. The Quick Reference Sheets have been posted on the Facebook Page under "Files" and I will post them on the Forum as well.

P.S.S. I will also post on both pages the updated Order of Battle for the Second Battle of Trenton since the British are missing the element sizes.

Happy New Year!!!!

Another great year has passed into history and with the distribution of Land of the Free in full swing I am looking forward to 2015 and hopefully seeing lots of games being played, talked about and run at local conventions.

I have been a little quiet lately because I have been finishing a book for Winged Hussar Publishing that covers battles in Europe from the 5th century up until the 15th century. The idea of the book is very similar to the historical re-fights in Land of the Free so I provide a background and synopsis of each battle, a recommended force list for the combatants, and a deployment of the armies for wargamers to utilize. Once that book is done it will be back to the hobby table and a jump into the 18th century so I can continue building my new AWI armies and offer new content for everyone.

My first objective in this new year is to provide some of the corrections that are needed for the Land of the Free book including the missing British element sizes for the Battle of Princeton.

More to follow very soon so stay tuned.................

Joe
